ok right now i have my last name in japanese going vertically but its only 2 seperate letters on my left chest so it looks really plain since chest is a big area. so should i add my first name beside it?? going vertically as well except my first name is 3 seperate letters... so its going to have 3 letters of my first name going vertically and right beside it its my last name which is 2 letters. does this sound good or should i just stay with my plain 2 letters of my last name on my left chest? thanks!Question #4:

what I wear (I have a tattoo on my back), how I have my hair (I have a small tattoo behind my ear), and who I am talking to because I have my tongue pierced. I am really interested in this guy who seems like he is really trying to do the christian walk, and my friend just told me that this guy would not be interested in me. Everything I have is tastefully done to the point that I work in a bank and my boss is ok with, but I don't where my tongue ring at work. My friend said when it comes to this man picking his wife he is obviously not going to pick anyone with tattoos or piercings. What do you think? Does a christian walk mean a man would not date someone with tattoos or piercings.Question #5:

Are paramedics allowed to have tattoo's or piercings?
I aim to begin training to be a paramedic soon and was wondering if there are any out there who have tattoos or piercings? I have both (although my tattoos aren't visible in normal clothing) and don't want to lose them if possible. Religious Tattoo Ideas!?
Hey, I'm 17 years old and I want to get my first tattoo.I am a Catholic, but I do not practice. Honestly, I don't really follow the faith. I just believe that there is a God, but not like people interpret. I believe that God can create and destroy, and that there is definitely a more evil side to God. *I'm not saying that I worship the devil or anything crazy, I just think that there is more to religion than people think.
Any who, I want a tattoo that definitely shows the bad part of religion, or some controversy.
I found a quote that I might use:

My idea is to have some religious symbol (good or bad): praying hands, a cross, a crucifix, etc. and also a biblical quote that may explain the picture.

everyone wants to control every small detail of your existence. why is that? even here on Q&A it's rampant.spacemonkey i was a lab tech ok ive seen tissue from conception to heartbeat. there is zero brain activity prior to hear beat so it hasn't gained it's soul as until that heartbeats it's first beat so stay outta MY WOMB.
oh i agree judith not that tattoos are ugly I think they are art that no one can steal without killing you first. and when it's your art done on another human being that means that you read them correctly enough for them to wear your artwork. That they think that highly of your work that they wear it to death or laser death LOL
cindy ann I would never abort a child that has a heartbeat that is when nervous structures begin to form and that is what makes up the brain where our soul is apparently contained. I mean see it this way. u can live if you get someone elses heart but you go into a coma and your gone but the body is still alive. right? same thing with a small clump of cells with no heartbeat or brain. Now I won't judge anyone else's decisions to do this or that and I tied my tubes after my child was born both were rationally made decisions that I spent hours on rationalizing the pros and cons of abortion, raising a small child whilst having major army injuries and no money and whether to make my body unable to ever have another child. it took me two weeks of hard thought, and prayer in my own way. I chose to have her, and try. but I will never judge a woman who aborts because trust me because all womens lives are different, look at those women with severe mental disorders who kill their kids

everyone i have spoken to disagrees that i should get a tattoo because of my age, the soul purpose of a tattoo tends to be because of a life experience, for example if a friend dies and you want a tribute, or if something means a lot to you and you want people to see just how much it has inspired you to achieve something.Personally i think they say i am too young because they don't think that i have lived long enough to make a wise decision.
I have been through many things and many people have inspired and encouraged me, is it so wrong that i want to display that in a way that is meaningful to me ?

My "soulmate" just decided he doesn't believe in God anymore?
I'm with a guy I believe is my soulmate. We resonate so much together. I am very spiritual and believe in a higher power. He used to, and even has religious tattoos.But now he completely denounced his views. He says he believes there is absolutely nothing. He went on a logic kick for a long time, and came out of it saying he won't believe anything he can't see and will never change that. He says I'm silly for believing in God and will just rot in the ground when I die.
I love him so much, and of course it hurts to see him turn from his beliefs, the ones that made me fall in love with him. Is there any way I can convince him to be open-minded once again?
Don't call me closed-minded. I've done quite a bit of research on many religions, New Age stuff, looked at atheist's arguments, and came to what I believe.
